MOORE TEA CITIZENS’ COMMENTS ON 9/12

Dee, this must have been a very inspiring trip.  I’m glad Pinehurst was represented.  Carolyn

Welcome home—-It must have been a life altering experience. I was thrilled with the turnout and the dedication and enthusiasm of the crowd but was disappointed that Glenn wasn’t in Washington and Fox coverage never showed the program at the mall–Glenn used it as a segment of his show.  I finally caught some of the program on the Internet and sang right along with Lloyd.

Axelrod, on TV today actually said that the demonstration in Washington on Saturday was not indicative of the feelings of Americans. Can you believe it?–Maybe if they say it long enough they will begin to believe it—–what do they need to wake them up ? A ton of bricks?

Most thrilling event I’ve ever attended, by far.

Whatever the number, it was very impressive!!!!!!!  I’m so proud of all of you!!!!!   Pud

All I can say is God Bless you!!! I watched from my chair and only Fox news carried it during the day but Sunday it was mentioned on CBS and ABC—what a thrilling, but exhausting experience. Hope you’ll share with us at the luncheon tomorrow. Ginsey

I was so proud  to be there.  The chant of the day was “Can You Hear Me Now?”  We did that a lot.  It was a peaceful march.  The “astroturf” and the “angry mob” just didn’t show up.  We were angry, but we were non militant.  Couldn’t any body rile us, either!  We came together like nothing I’ve ever participated in before.  There were Democrats and Republicans, Men and Women of ALL ages (and children), Black and White, AMERICANS ALL!!!  We pledged, we prayed, we sang, we chanted and we ROARED!  We’re silent NO MORE!  (another sign).  The only thing we didn’t see was “main stream” media.  But, I’m sure they heard us!

We exceeded the crowd at the inauguration!  We closed parts of DC that were not scheduled to be closed!  Even the cops were nice to us!  It was great!

 🙂  Carol

Great job, Dee. Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard on pulling it together. Please post this to the blog. There ought to be some way to get the press to recognize the 1.2 million–versus the tens of thousands as in the NYT yesterday.

Absolutely awesome.
I’m proud of you all and every good American who took part in the 9-12 rally.
Non-partisan and orderly.  Even MSM is calling it grassroots.
1.2 million – 1.5 million marchers.   Just awesome.
“Can you hear us now?!”    Perfect.
An historic event that will forever be inspiring..
Thank you.

(And I’ll bet you didn’t trash the mall.)

Hi Dee,

What a wonderful time in DC. I will never forget it!! Not only the numbers of people who want our country back but the people themselves!! The bus travelers with me were representative of our protest. We all liked each other so much we are planning on meeting again. AnnBeth is a super leader and we sure did appreciate her!! How lucky we are to have each other in these perilous times.

Rush Limbaugh today in his radio show told us listeners that the British

media said there were 2 million attendees in their opinion. He also had an idea that my son had months ago.

Never have so many gathered in one space for one purpose with one common thread—love of country and protection of freedom. Anne and I were proud to have been a part of the historic moment. From California to Maine, we met so many wonderful Americans, all of whom exhibited such patriotism and such passion for this important cause. The gathering was one of great civility and courteousness, though assertive and determined to send America’s message—Hear us now and save our country. While reflecting upon the massive attendance numbers, it is as one gentleman said to me, “It matters not the count, the message has been sent.” The march is a beginning; the work continues. We all have an important part to play in America’s future.
