CARTHAGE PARADE DECEMBER 1

THE CARTHAGE PARADE was held on Tuesday, December 1.  We did up an awesome float for the parade, with a theme of “A Cup of Christmas Tea”.  We handed out 200 copies of the Constitution to school age children and could have given away another 1,000 – the crowd was great.  The welcome was super from all sides, and many of you came out to march in the parade!  Thanks to all who made it happen – Carol, Craig, Pud, Linda, Bonny and Dee and families.  On the float were 97 year young Blue Monroe, Pud, Linda, Craig’s two great kids, and John Oltesvig in full Revolutionary War costume.

I did see the slideshow-some of the pics were blurry because I was walking and trying to take shots at the same time. But, I think everyone will see how cute the float looked and how great our “floaters” looked! Bonny
