About Healthcare…Sign The Pledge!

Here is a new website – it’s called www.repealit.org.

“I hereby pledge that if any federal health care takeover is passed in 2010, I will support – with my time, money, and vote – only candidates who pledge to support its repeal and replacement with real reforms that lower health care costs without growing government.”

Linda Health Alert

Please Read It and Then Make Calls!

Dear Friends of MOORE TEA,

The subject is STILL HEALTHCARE!

We are attaching a somewhat long ALERT from Linda Jarrett (Legislation) to let our members know what’s coming next and suggest what we might do to fight it.  We are sorry it has to be long – the list of people to contact is long because we’re not sure who the Representatives and Senators are who might be approachable at this time.  It’s all in flux, and as you know secrecy reigns in DC.

So please take to the phones again – fax if you prefer – but let them know your response to the lack of attention to what Americans are demanding – KILL THE BILL AND START OVER.

Thanks, friends, and we’ll hope to see many of you at the Town Hall we’re holding on Saturday, January 23rd at the Village Hall.  Call us (910-783-8340) or email if you wish to attend.  Capacity is 200, and they are strict about enforcing that number.  We cannot let you in if you did not sign up.  Sorry about that!

Is Saturdays meeting now closed to attendees ?
I wanted to add my husbands name. If I still can, it’s Fred.
    Thank you, Pat Stephenson…

    • Dee says:

I’m so sorry, Pat, it’s closed. We’d love to just throw the doors open, but the Fire Marshal has limited us to 200 folks. Please tell Fred we’ll welcome him to all of the other 2010 events. Even another Town Hall or two!

      Thanks for understanding!
