The short session of the North Carolina Legislature convened this Wednesday, May 12th. Fourteen Moore TEA Citizen members went and joined in the statewide protest at the General Assembly Building in Raleigh.
Legislation will be introduced that will exempt citizens and businesses of North Carolina from participation in federally mandated health care. As of April 27th, twenty-two states have filed lawsuits against this illegal mandate to nationalize health care. We need to continue to do everything we can to ensure that North Carolina will become the next state to assert our Constitutionally guaranteed rights under the 10th amendment.
We met and talked with representatives of other TEA groups and saw some we’ve met before. It was a fine opportunity to stand up and speak out for freedom from government-run health care.
Watch here for the note we have received from David DeGerolamo, head of NCFreedom.us, organizer of the Wednesday rally. MOORE TEA CITIZENS had the most members at the Halifax Mall rally! Hooray!
